...and I installed one of those vacuum canisters so I wouldn't have to worry about having enough vacuum if I ever have to get out of the throttle quickly and hit the brakes. Works great!

just an old truck booster...does this pic make it look more normal in size?
may have listed this somewhere...best of 2 shake down runs on 1/8mi track was 8.48 @ 82.80 with a 1.94 60'. Should get closer to 8.0's or lower with some timing and carb tweaking.

TXoldschool, is your LY6 still running stock (~9.6 to 1) compression? Also how do you like the GMPP dual plane? I can't seem to find much info on them yet.
Sorry, Tigger.

Hello all, new guy checking in from Boise, Idaho. Stumbled across this thread and was wondering if someone can help me out, and in turn maybe I can get you a new camshaft super cheap! I recently purchased a pile of brand new camshafts from an auction liquidating assets from a shop that apparently went out of business. Problem is, I don't know what most of them are compatible with! Most are brand named from a company called Hi-Tech Engine Components in Salt Lake that appears to have been acquired by some other company (possibly Comp Cams) 8-10 years ago? So....although these are new in box with all the specs printed on it, I cannot find cross-reference information anywhere online. And I'll be honest, I'm not a mechanic and don't know the first thing about camshafts so I won't be able to figure it out by studying the specs. I'm guessing that what I have fits multiple makes/models and likely vehicles from the 60's through early 2000's. I have about 50-60 camshafts looking for someplace other than my garage! Does anybody maybe have that part number cross-reference information in some old catalog? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
