Sounds like your Buick is workin good!, I`d really like to see how your combo would run out the back end on a 1/4 mile

Good results man!

Bench racing the 1/8 to 1/4 calculators, based on your 7.46 @92 & 3675 lbs, the Wallace calculators predict a 11.59/115.56 1/4 mile potential (466hp).

466hp for 92mph@3675, 1574 DA

If you want to see your DA information at your dragstrip, here is a handy DA calculator.

That's amazing Tigger! Congrat's on getting some damn good runs! Also, nice R/T's! I never could hook there at Sunshine, or Orlando "Spin World". BMP is the only place that hooked for us most of the time.
That combo is really working in your huge brick!!

Great video's, thanks for adding them. You ever make it to BMP?

Also, what is your combo like? LQ9, Comp XR275HR, stock heads or Ported heads? Eddy RPM or Vic Jr?
thanks.

I haven't had this car to BMP, but I have probably made 500 passes there.

If you go to my build thread, I think the 3rd post is a comprehensive parts list with part numbers for everything.

I saw that post, I was just wondering if anything changed. Do you regret the RPM over the Vic Jr?
I used to live at BMP. Was there Thurs. T&T, Sat and Sunday... Then sold all the cars to open a business, and just now bought the MCSS in my sig, which one day will have a LS in again. I was thinking the Vic Jr EFI to have the old school look, but still keep the ECM so I can tune it with my HP Tuners.

Well, I built the car to be very drivable and have great mid-range torque. I wanted a car that I could drive anywhere. The car does exactly that. I would have no problem jumping in this car and driving it to Georgia if need be. Last night, first time at the drag strip, it lays down a 7.46. So, no regrets here. The only thing that I might change is the cam. Not because of the performance, but I just wish it had more lope at idle. I love the hotrod sound.

seadoo, im running the vic jr w the fast ez efi. like u i wanted the old school look with efi drivability. shake down runs from driveway to driveway seem very positive. im set up to paint my car next tuesday(best weather). im really looking forward to seeing how it all works out. ive got a tread on this forum of my flog. unlike a lot of carb set-ups with the LS3 heads matting the floor gives instantaneous wide open throttle. no bog or hesitation. i highly recommend the efi w the carb style intake.

Your car leaves the line great. Stock suspension ?
Whats the 1/4 mile equivalent of a run like that ?
Nice stuff.

You did nail it Doug. I have to admit. I was even surprise at the numbers she laid down.

All stock suspension. I boxed the control arms and installed urethane bushings. The rear has a 1" sway bar and I removed the front to go to the track. The shock are auto parts store Monroe matics. It is about 11.70
