There are programmable boxes for use with distributors. I see guys at the track with them.

then why is he using the built in rev limiter distributor instead of letting the box control that as well?

Default Project Update

Well it's been a while since I have posted an update so here it goes. Plumbing is almost complete minus the upper and lower radiator connections and the power steering box. I am looking to make the upper and lower cooling lines from aluminum pipe with gates shrink fittings.

Installed hydraulic clutch setup and plumbed reservoir, still need to bleed the throwout bearing. Radiator -4an steam bung welded in and mounting tabs welded for core support bolts. -8an fuel line ran from tank to cartridge filter and -8an from filter to fuel pump.

Pulled the inner fenders and trimmed them so I can highlight to front suspension and 13"-6 piston brakes, so just waiting to get the painting done to re-install.

Need to get front windshield pulled and new glass installed in entire car. Lot's of little details left but trying to get a few done here and there. Wife lost here job in August so the "fun money" dried up.

Attached a few updated pics from today. Thanks

Wegner motorsports makes all of it. Their stuff is not cheap but the quality, fit and finish is second to none.

Default A little Progree

Made a little progress on the hotrod. Got the -20an upper radiator hose and Mezier Thermostat housing mounted.....expensive but I was contemplating a stainless steel hardline setup with gates shrink connectors.

Got the spark plug wires run and the remaining dash gauges hooked up. Fuel in the tank, coolant in the system tested to 15lbs., waiting for custom made Ovalcraft power steering and coolant overflow tanks to arrive. Get power steering hoses made and will be ready for initial starting. Can't wait!

Thanks

I like the third ones, myself. Just not crazy about the rivets/bolts. Are thes 2 or 3 piece wheels?

3rd wheels are my pick of the three as well. I like the rivet look, but it makes them more difficult to clean

I vote for the 3rd ones as well, with the 1st ones being my second choice. Don't care for the 2nd ones. Damn that's confusing......LOL.

Default New wheels!

Pulling the trigger with the Boze Injected wheels. 20"/18" and will be brushed centers with chrome outer lip with polished lines on the spokes. Can't wait!

The electronic MSD dizzy is completely programmable with variable timing curves at the the turn of the dial. It's the way to go for turn and burn tuning in lieu of a computer and re-mapping a box. It also has fully adjustable rev limiter by turning a dial as well. I like it.
