Default ~3000lb Gbody + LQ9 + CAM/Trickflows= 10.5x???ET

I'm currently working on a Carbed LQ9 (Flat Top Piston 6.0L). Will be running a 850cfm Holley Carb, 9" with 4.56 gears, Powerglide Trans, Currently 4200 stall on the 406sbc

Mods So FAR:
Trickflow 220 "AS CAST" 2.04/1.575 .660 dual spring(406lbs open pressure) 64cc heads (LS1)
Edelbrock 1.75" Stepped to 1.875" LT's with 3.5" collector (Ceramic Coated)
ASP 25% Underdrive pulley
SLP Heavy duty Oil pump (Staying with blue spring)
CTS-V oil pan
ARP Rod bolts
ARP Head Bolts
LS2 Timing Chain
Holley 850cfm Carb
EWP
Vic Jr
MSD 6010 programmable box
240/244 .612 .596 109LSA
LS7 Lifters
Stock GM MLS 6.0 HeadGaskets
Trickflow 7.500 Pushrods

The car is a 82' Regal and current race weight on the car with no driver is 2980lbs with 6 gals of fuel. I'm hoping to push the car to around a 10.60-10.10 in a 2500 DA. It does 60' fairly well with a best of a 1.36 and averages a 1.55-1.40. I will probly need a different Converter (around a 8" 4700-5200rpm Flash when on the TransBrake)

Just wondering if this sounds like it will get the job done N/A or does anyone have any better suggestions on my parts list. (Keep in mind this is a budget build junk yard pulled LQ9)?? Any suggestions on the intake, cam, heads selection is always food for thought here!!

Trying to avoid flycutting.

According to tsp they can order the prc 5.3s in a 63cc chamber and the ms3 will clear on a gm mls gasket

figured I'd post a pic of the car.

If you could see the car in person you would know how it got that name!! It has some BIG Hail DENTS!

I have been doing some searching and I might try the PRC 5.3 2.5 heads with a little thicker gasket (.060) and try a custom polluter on a 111LSA or even a EPS Custom Cam.

The trans/rear end will stay the same but will be putting in the LQ9 6.0L.

Ive got some edelbrock 1.75 stepped 1.875" LT's with 3.5" collectors ceramic coated, ASP 25% underdrive pulley, Electric water pump, ARP head bolts, ARP Rod bolts.

Still need heads, pushrods, cam, Oil pump, Intake, LS7 Lifters, MSD controller, and Gaskets

Been thinking of ordering a
235/242 .646 .612 111LSA and some CNC 243's or PRC 5.3 as well.

compression with those cams would be your friend. Flycut the pistons for valve clearance and mill the heads with a 040 cometic head gasket

the 235/242 cam should fit without flycutting on a GM .051 gasket and still be around .050 PTV clearance. Compression would be around 11:1 SCR.

Had a custom Cam spec'd 2day.
24x/25x 595 612 109LSA. Was told from Mike @ TEA that it should give about .060 PTV clearance on a stock GM Gasket.

Mike was VERY helpful and gave me some insight on the best way to set these heads up on stock rockers

I also asked Geoff @ EPS and am awaiting his reply!

Results from yesterday with a 5550+ft DA, and some pictures of the swap. Will be looking for a 5000-5500rpm Converter and a CNC 4 hole 1" Spacer.

What did it run? I cant see the slips in the vid but it looks like it pulled hard on the back half.
