That's no problem, I didn't have a set of heads to send either. You have two options, Ai can either order some brand new cores from GM (they are cheap) or you can buy a set of used heads in good condition and send them in.

I just had them buy a set of new heads from GM and it worked great. I think it was only a few hundred dollars for brand new castings from GM.

I was just talking to Kyle @ http://www.thompsonmotorsports.net/ about a motor and he's got some decent looking numbers posted CNC LS3/L92's I will be getting on the motor I'm ordering.

No clue how they compare to the other guys out there.

I think it was Hotrod mag. that just did a big comparo of about 12 different LS3 style heads. They flow benched them, then bolted each set on a 454 LS motor with a healthy cam and did a pull. Just went to the reading room( The John, Head,etc..etc...) and found the mag. It is HotRods feb. 2011 issue. They compared 9 differnt heads and the mast black label large bore heads blew the others away on average HP AND torque. Pretty good read.

When your comparing flow numbers watch out for what bore they are tested on. Most advertise on a 4.125" bore.

Yep, and that HotRod test was on a big bore. It was interesting to see how the flow #s compared to the engine dyno #s. Its not a cut and dried fact that flow #s make the HP#s.
