Default Who's got the big cubes

Alright guys here is another epic what should i F ing do tread. I got rid of my 402 shortblock and i want and need big cubes for a N/A setup. I have west coast stage 3 L92, MAST carbed intake manifold, and of course all of the other goodies that go on the motor. I am in search of a shortblock that will get me and my 3100 pound 2000 camaro with everything BMR has ever made to go fast in the mmid nines on pump gas. I know these are out there i have seen them. The best quote i have so far is from RED 441 for $5300 shortblock shipped YEA BUDDY !!! i def dont want the heavy *** iron lsx block i dont care what anyone says fully dressed thats alot of weight on the nose. Shane at thunder racing hooked me up pretty good with a 440 shortblock for $6300 with the lsx but i just dont want the weight. ERL 447 was $6200, and obviously texas speed had their stuff on their web site. I did see that scoggin dickey has a el toro grande 440 shortblock for like $6300 i think. SO what do i do guys RED is def my first choice and they are really cool guys there. I wouldnt mind a 454 either i will not be spraying or FI so i need some imput if ya got the cubes post up

CHEERS haha

Idk about weight holding that much, but 1cdub is running 9.2 or 9.1 in the 1/4 with the 454 lsx all motor on 93 octane, good enough for me to wish it was my motor.

Damn, who makes a 510? 500 is the biggest I have seen and it requires the block spacer that ERL uses. OP, get the ERL 500 short block.

Get in touch with SAMs (school of automotive machinist ). They have an all motor 500cid they run in the LSX stuff. They have been doing a fair amount of tinkering with the big cube stuff ,so they could probably point you in the right direction.

I see the crate engines for sale from competition products, but the come with warranties, so they are not the screamers many of us look for.
