Default dyno day

so yesterday I had my 72 el Camino on the dyno.

it is a completly stock 2000 5.3 lm7, whit the rpm manifold Edi. 600cfm. pacesetter lt. for F-body, and the 6010 set on 32'

it made:
271hp at 5071rpm
425nm at 2916

now it is running a bit rich. but i think it is fair good.

Nice, imagine ported heads and a cam. My 6.0 made 292 rwhp through a 4l80 and 14 bolt, stock efi with exhaust and k&n.

The TR220R grinds may be what you need, they will keep torque but add allot of power and sound fantastic, search for it on youtube to get a idea of sound.

it is at the motor. so it will make the same if i put a manuel in it.
but i am happy, it makes 285hp and 440nm in stock fuel injectet form. and if i had opend the hood and not had it so hot after 1 houre off cruising it had made more.
so cam and cold air intake will be next

You would gain from simply swapping to 243 or 799 castings as well. 3-400$.

A 243 or 799 head swap(same head different casting number) would gain 20-30 HP, If you did a baby cam and the heads you would see 60 or so gain.
