Default manual water temp gauge

Where are y'all hooking them up? Seen where some are drilling and tapping the water pump. Is that the best place? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

There is a brass block heater plug on either side of the motor that can be easily drilled and tapped to 1/2 inch NPT.

The stock senders in the heads can also be drilled out to 3/8 inch NPT.

Well, if it was already there, ok. But price wise, the kit has everything I need, 24$. And it is simple as it gets. Sensor wire, power 12 and ground neg.
