Default FYI for Performer RPM users!!

Recently I set up a motor with a Vic jr manifold the one that is pre drilled and tapped for the msd ing box and after getting very pissed of trying to get my 750 do to idle correctly I realized the hole front and center is drilled right through the intake runner WTF! Not a huge deal but it would be nice if it said in the directions somewhere that this needed to be plugged if you don't want to mount your msd box in that dumbass position! I feel better....

My Victor Jr. does not have a mounting spot for the MSD box. Did the early models have that? I know my Performer RPM had the mounting for it.

They got me too, but just for a second. Went from a Vic jr to a RPM, then put my finger over the hole....I thought "no way they would have a hole straight through, right?".

Wrong. Lol

Default So much fun

Between the hole up front on the intake, The bung in the back that i used for the Map sensor was leaking a little also. I removed my brand new holley 750 dp while troubleshooting and some how knocked my seconday return spring off is perch oviously not helping me set my idle. Top all that off with two brand new plugwires with "thoses cute little fiberglass socks" yeah they melted inside the sock and shorting to the headders!!!!!!WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In other news i think i picked up about 150 horse power on the butt dyno!

I used a screw for mounting the MSD box by the way.

Note that the Holley will not clear a msd ignition mounted there without a spacer. It was designed for clearing a square bore edelbrock carb.
