Same thing happened to e, it was a piece of fiber from a fuel line in the needle/seat. It sounded like boiling too because the intake gets hotter than people think and it was dumping all the cool fuel on it. Another reason not to use cheapo rubber fuel line. if you do, be sure the ends dont have any frays or strand on or in it.
