Like the OP, I want something easy on the valvetrain and is basically put it in/on and forget about it. I'll have other places I need to worry about (as well as the wife getting pissed... )

That's what I want. Lots of torque everywhere and I don't mind giving up a little top end power. I want to road race the car (suspension is finally done) and researching the cam/heads/headers combo I will eventually pick out.

Here is a LS1 with TEA Stage 2 243's, Fast92/95 and the SNS Stage 2 on a Mustang Dyno:
I believe this customer also leaned his AFR out and put down 454rwhp and not sure on the new torque figure.

I have put about 40 miles on my 5.3 with the smallest thumper cam. I can say, I gave it a 1/2 throttle burst at 30mph and my truck went sideways. The sound is great and I have not had any trouble yet. I have to fix a few things and then I will be off to the dyno to get some numbers.

I have put about 40 miles on my 5.3 with the smallest thumper cam. I can say, I gave it a 1/2 throttle burst at 30mph and my truck went sideways. The sound is great and I have not had any trouble yet. I have to fix a few things and then I will be off to the dyno to get some numbers.
