Sold the Firebird today end of the month this thing should be moving on its own power........This Air Force pay checks don't warrant a speedy build LOL jk I'm actually taking vacation to Florida where I can enjoy it vs going down and worrying about nothing but the car.......

questions on the MSD wires are they Truck/Car specific because I put mine on my car and they just seem to have no slack in them what so ever....

Different coil wires are different length. Cars are shorter I think.

My super sweet 26$ deal on a set of wires from eBay just showed their true colors when I attempted to remove one.

Well.........Good and bad news

Nothing pertaining the car quite yet but orders dropped for me to go to Germany for 2 years starting January........So getting the car finished is now number one on my to do list vs doing little at a time....Then after that I have no idea what I'm doing with the car

Im in the Navy so I understand that BS lol. Drain fluids + jackstands + storage unit. Dont sell your car you put so many hours in just because youre getting transferred. I did that twice so far I only been in 4 1/2 years. Storage units are cheap considering youll be getting overseas pay CONUS and whatever else.

And make sure you tell anyone your paying a bill to that you are leaving. Nothing worse than paying unnecessary ****.

I hope to break over 100 mph in the 1/8th before I get something done to the converter. 98 was just sad after losing 400 pounds and going to an auto. But 4 psi of fuel pressure was probably not helping the cause.

Mine went 105 with still low timing, so Lawhead, you should be able to do that. I have less motor than you. I have stock shortblock cam only and went 6.63 on low timing @103, bumped timing and went 1.57(spinning) pedaled it to hook, and then crossed the stripe in 6.69@105.28. I still have more timing to give it and done some suspension work, so maybe it will improve on that ET tomorrow. Good luck with yours.
