typically not recommended by the nitrous companies to run more than about a 75 shot on a dual plane.

LOL!! A 75 Shot will only idle the engine up! LOL!!! Holy Crap! we ran 150 shot and it was fine for 3 years! just wore it out after 50,000 miles and 200 passes. 75 shot! They don't even offer it for a carb! And if they did I'll call ya a ***** for even Paying for it!

good for you! so one guy had good luck with it...do what you want...the engine even in stock form will want a vic jr anyway, so not sure why we're wasting our time here.

I have had a few run a 150 on the SBCs. But they was scared to push them any further. I would not try it just because.....well, lots of reasons.

I ran a bottle a week through my old 350 Buick with factory dual plane intake with a 150 shot for 2 years. That engine went in our family car and went for another 6 years after that.

Big blocks Buicks would take a 200 shot on a factory manifold, no problem.

Edelbrock recommends limiting dual plane manifolds to a 150 shot. They claim that over 150 HP, even distribution becomes problematic. I would think they would know.
