A sv1 or a 1050 from quick fuel. The sv1 is cream of the crop for many. Or see what pro systems has to say about a 4150 style 4 barrel.

Pro systems stuff still needs to be tuned. go with the quick fuel or one of the holley ultras in the same size.

+1 to the quickfuel. No carb I perfect out if the box, close, but not perfect. If you gunna tinker with it anyways might as well borrow someone's baseline tune and tinker from there. Save ya a couple hundred bucks too.

Default Carb Size

I am running a Holley HP 1000 CFM on my cam only 6.2 with L92 heads. It runs great, 7.05 on motor and 5.78 on the gas 1/8 mile.

I like the Holley HP series, but I think the Quick Fuel with the billet base plate and metering blocks is the best carb value out there.

I just went with a QF 830 with mech secondaries. I was going to go with a pro systems Carb but I got the same response/price specs back from them when my specs changed a few times. Going on a 243 ASA cammed lq9 in a 240sx.

I would run a Holley Ultra HP 1050 with this application. They are a great carbs and they are almost 5 lbs lighter then the quick fuels.

I just got a spec back from Pro Systems for a 408 with cnc'd LS3 heads, vic Jr and spray.

They recommended their 4150 style that has dominator metering. flows 980-1000cfm

Dominators are hard to get good idle out of, if your car will see street duty. There are several 4150 bodies getting 1000+cfms now for a street setup. If it were me, that would be the way to decide ,street- 4150/track only -dominator.

This is what I'll be going with for a very similar setup to the OP's.
