Default Little bit of smoke?

Are you guys that run bigger cams getting a little big of smoke at idle? Its not a whole lot but a enough to get my attention. heads are new, so I wouldn't think that it is the valve seals. (could be though). What do yall think?

With those big heads (lovem! got an LS3 myself) monster cam, and the Vic JR that thing flows air at idle like molasses in the winter. My guess is the fuel fumes make your eyes water too. Im running a baby cam compared to you and mine puddles fuel too. Im changing to a GMPP dual plane to hopefully get some low speed port velocity, but to answer your question, I dont think a little gas puff would be out of the ordinary for a set up like yours. I wouldnt worry about it. But what do I know, Im an asker, not the answerer,LOL.

Thats what I was thinking bc when I up the idle timing lets say from 30 to 40 it def clears up some. I normaly run ilde at 40* and then from a 1000 on 30 climing to 34. if it was oil I wouldnt think it would clear up or get worse with change of timing.

I just watched your vid, that looks like oil smoke to me. Do you have a PCV? And how is it routed?

I have tall valve covers with oil catchers. It's possible that it could be going through that way.

Look into the PCV hose at the carb end to see if there are traces of oil?
I wouldn't run a PCV at all, unless you are required to.

How's the ground clearance with that truck pan in an f body? I would be afraid to drive it. That pan has to be hanging at least 3"below k member
