specs are actually
236/246, 600/600 with 1.7 rocker (635/635 with lsx 1.8), 110 lsa.

think its really going to go well.
some updates with this.

cam has been checked and with 1.7 rocker is actually on average 611-613 lift.

only need 60/70 thou fly-cuts even with the 100 thou off heads. overall coming along really well. hopefully not too far off.

Looking forward to both of your results!
Dogballs, I'm sure it will run hard with the compression you have in it combined with the squareport heads, mine ran great with a similar combo.

sbmalibu, yours will run good too, but I recomend holding out for the right heads, do not put LS1 heads on it

Thanks for the input three pedals. Its gonna get a set of 243 heads ported by rich grogh. He is my buddys engine builder and head porter for his mean street car. He has designed a couple of cnc porting programs for other shops that sell cnc heads. This is part of the reason im taking so long. And I cant wait to hear how yours runs dogsballs.

Default intake

By taking .100 off of the heads, did you have to do anything with the intake???

flycuts done with cutting tool, pretty much a valve with serrations on the bottom.

need to mill a fraction on the inlet face of heads (so can use the manifold for other engines). although could get away if the inlet port o-rings were thicker.

you may need to use a small round file to oval the intake bolt holes

Well no updates so far on mine. It tooka side burner to other projects and is just getting ready to start buying parts again. I am shopping for a set of heads to get ported by rgr just need intake and pushrods once we finalize heads to put this deal together. But its also -6 outside and we have our 2nd big snowstorm and ice storm of the year and its keeping me from wanting to run the heater in the garage too much so progress is slow. LOL

alloy 6.0 with flat top pistons.

58cc with 100th removed.

peaks at 7200-7300, when we tried 7500 rev pill in the msd 7al3. but for safety put 7300 pill and shift 7100-7200.
