New best for the ole mustang
oh with it being stock, im prob about 5400 to 5600 at the finish line right now,,, im going to stick the z06 cam in this week or next and see what that will net me,,, I checked the plugs Friday night it looks like it little to lean might have to go up a jet or 2... and looks like the plug is too hot too,,, but will put a new plugs in when the z06 cam goes in.. then im going to try my e85 carb again and see what that does.. oh also my close track is 1/8 mile,,
That's a good increase for a factory cam. Im not familiar with factory part #s so not sure still which one you have. The LS7 cam makes good #s from what Ive seen, not sure about the LS6 cam, but has to be much better than the truck cam!

That's the LS6 cam. If you didn't already have it, car craft just did a good article on LS factory cams and the LS9 cam was an awesome bang for the buck. Almost the same specs as the LS7 cam, but 190 bucks new from GM. Made 420hp in an otherwise stock 5.3. In that test the LS6 cam didn't do very well. Not to say it wont do well in yours, but in that particular test the LS9/LS7 cams were king of the stock cams. Im sure you will see good results. Looking forwards to your #s!
