Crankcase pressure....
I seem to have too much crankcase pressure....blew out the dip stick, oiled down the motor and the track ....
I can only guess the motor needs more time to seat, and need to look for a catch can/breather combo ?
How much will this help ?

Should help, stick another on the tube too. I ordered one for he valley cover too, just gotta mount it
The stuff I used
The elbow for the tube on valve cover

Use either end
small filter like yours (I have the filter off, but the tube is in the picture)

The big one

I took the filter on it and swapped it for a K&N breather though, it screws into the valve cover of all ls engines

I wish I could remember the thread I read a while back on PCV on these LS engines. It was on LS1gto of all places. It was a link off the gto forum on LS1tech. Anyway the old guy that wrote it was a wealth of knowledge on the subject. I did mine roughly like he recommended and he claimed that, air in was very important for it to function right.
With a small breather on one valve cover, with a PCV valve in the other, or if its like mine, in the valley cover going to the engine vacuum source, you should be fine. You might get some oil in the intake and in that case, run a can , if its excessive. So far mine is working very well, but I think the valley port might be the reason I don't have any oil in the hose going to the intake.
What is your engine setup ?

I have a single 3/8" line going to the intake from rear DS valve cover
Dipstick itself came out....not the tube. I may mave other issues just too pissed to look at right now. 90* and high humidity isn't helping either

Like I said , Doug, If you are pulling air out through a PCV you have to have a fresh air source in , or everything gets in a bind. 3 Pedals sounds like he is running an open system without PCV and that will work. I ran that way on my 406 for a while, but adding a PCV to the back of my carb was the only way my dipstick stayed in. On the 406 I had 4 3" diameter breathers, 2 in each valve cover. It breathed good, to say the least!

If you run a vacuum pump, you can keep the oil inside your motor and out of your combestion chambers where it causes detonation and dead motors. If your motor is detonating, the knock sensors will pull timing and slow you down also.

Looking at a few different filters now.
