loose bolt

Default loose bolt
did an oil change today and found a goldish colored 6mm X 20mm bolt in the oil pan...any idea what it was holding together?
I'm thinking one of the 4 bolts that holds the small pan in the bottom of the oil pan...

Pic of the bolt? Hope the pickup tube bolt didn't back out.

Maybe a po dropped it, then replaced the bolt w/o fishing out the old one.

I bought one of these, makes me feel better anyway. If you do change it, get a new o-ring for the pick up, and make sure its not pinched http://www.brphotrods.com/mm5/mercha...ory_Code=CNV12

Yea no doubt I would have ripped that pan off no matter what! If I was you Op I would clean those threads And use a drop of blue loctite for jnsurance

This^ do that first before you tear it apart. You may not need to but it doesn't look good
