Big girl has an attitude.

Lonnie at Extreme upgraded my transmission to rollerized billet internals. He thinks I had taken the Stage 1 model past its intended design LOL. He was testing it on the dyno yesterday. Hopefully it shipped today.

Chris said my converter should ship mon or tues. My new front coil springs should be here middle of next week to. Looks like I have some thrashing to do next weekend.

I wonder if that is the stage 2, like I have? Mine has roller billet clutch things and billets other somethings. Your stage 1 was suppose to grenade at about 475FWHP, the stage 2 is good to about 750hp. That should hold together OK.

Nobody told the transmission that.

How is your 1-2 shift?

WOT is very solid, but not so hard as to upset the car. Absolutely no slip into the next gear. Just "pop" and you are in the next one. Part throttle is the same way, and the upshift RPM changes according to how much throttle input you give it. Lonnies 2004Rs are just about as good as I could ask for in shift personality. You already knew that ,because the valve bodies are pretty much the same for all 3 stages. The valve bodies do have an over sized reverse boost valve for the stage 2. They say that helps the bands and clutches to live longer when you shift manually .
As far as your trans living when it wasn't suppose to, that's just an indicator of just how good they are. But you did get lucky with the forward drum/input shaft. That sucker should have vented your floor board a long time ago! LOL

[QUOTE=speedtigger;17865124]The instructions say to have it sitting on the ground, full weight with the driver in the seat for the final adjustment. Anything else I should know from your experience? Do you often have to use pre-load?

Sorry I missed this.We just followed the instructions and the bar worked perfect.Never had to add extra pre-load.

Snowmobile ?! I have to admit, Im a little jealous . Ive been watching the snow fall all day on TV, watching the football games. We get enough snow to cover the ground about once every 2-3 years down here. The kid in me never got enough of it. I hope we get a good one this year.

Don't mind a few inches of snow.... but when we get feet (5-7 year cycle) it can be stressful with 3'+.

2010.......

I love the snow! It's nice to have 4 seasons. I like to snow ski, go sledding, bumper sliding.... Ahhh it's a blast!
I had my fathers Yamaha Kodiak 450 out in the snow with a long sled tied behind it on a 15' rope and my 6 year old daughter loved it. We did about 50 laps around a 2 acre field lol.

The new front springs arrived today. The transmission shipped today and is expected to arrived Thursday. I have not received the notice that the converter has shipped yet. I will need the converter to get here by Friday to get it in this weekend.

Damn Doug. No pressure eh buddy? Install a trans, front and rear suspension, sort it all out and be at the track ready to run the next day? Maybe Zone could thrash that hard. I am too old. Maybe I need a crew.
