Default Fastest blow-through turbo/supercharged, using MSD 6010/6012?

How fast have you been using a 6010/6012, and at what CI, and race weight?
I'm looking for the limits of the ignition system. Have you experienced any high boost misfire ?
Mines not close to maxing it, but I'll start:
9.57@147 - 6.0L, 3510 race weight
Plugs- NGK R5671-A8 Stock # 4554 gapped .015"

Also, what boost are you running. When others add their boosted info, it would be a good comparison for hi boost mis fire. Just my .02. Good idea Barrett. Eric L

Never got to the strip but
msd 6010
csu 750 e85 blow thru
twin 6162 turbos on 313ci
8000rpm 23lbs of boost
23°total timing
Autolite 103 plugs .018gap
no spark blowout or misfire

In the process of building a 86 Notchback ls motor 6010 with another csu carb shooting for low 5's in the 1/8th.

So you think the ignition system would have any more limits then stock EFI ?

As long as both systems had equal tunes,I don't see any difference. You still have the same coils firing the plugs.

Useful thread, but I would think the coil packs are what limits the ignition in high HP applications. All the box needs to do is provide a 5V trigger to the coils.

Yes, you are correct. The coils provide the voltage and they have plenty lol.

I have some parts lying around and thinking about building a turbo 347 ci or a 383 ci with what I have.
I'm not sure if I want to go blow thru carb or fi. Seems how I'm already setup for carb it would be much cheaper to go that rout.

I need it to make 950hp or more. I want to go 8.0's around 170mph.
