Damn I was looking at the intake runner you guys have posted on here and that is a serious shot straight to the head runner! I'm very interested on on how well these intakes perform.

does anyone have any before and afters?

Also I see that they don't have the injector bungs? (just the pics i saw) That's awesome.

Just talked to edelbrock today and they said it will be about 3 months before they have one available for a 4150 flange carb. Guess I will take a back seat and wait a few months.

I would get the 4500 one and use a adapter but I know it will kill some power and throttle response. They always say patience is a virtue and I am learning that lol.

Depending on the size of your motor, you might be surprised.

4500 intake adapted down to 4150carb is not so bad as 4150 intake adapted up to 4500carb

my carb has both patterns. Wonder if it would perform good just using my 4150 carb on the 4500 flange. ??? I may try a dominator carb, thats why i may just get the 4500 SV.

It seems like there would be more plenum volume with the 4500 flange . Whether the extra volume would help your engine would have to be tested , I guess. I will be interested to see what difference the intake is going to make. Its of no interest to me on my little street car, but the thought has fluttered through my head of building a combo for more serious track duty and drop it in my 68 Camaro, and that intake should work nicely for a 416 iron block built to turn up to 7500ish with some home touched LS3 heads and a cam with some nastiness !?

Martin seems to think it will help mine quite a bit. But no real way of knowing besides trying. I'm waiting to see some et's before I decide what to do.

Twin turbo2 on here went to a Mast intake on his carb ls3 and some PRC small bore LS7's and it picked up nicely. If you have a light car, I can see it picking up with a 4500 Mast intake.

Cool, looks like 7.5" from the photo but either way it is way too tall for my 'street' car hood.

Seems to me that this would be a perfect selection for a triple nitrous fogger kit with as long as those runners are. TONS of room to get 3 fogger kits installed and plumbed up.. But you better have 3 bottles to support it all!! LOL
