I think I'm going to order one of those 14 pc AN wrench sets. I don't believe the ones I have now are billet. And I paid the same price for 8. Definitely saved that site in favorites. Your right there prices are fantastic. Thanks for posting that site.

I still think mine was due to the direction of the belt travel being the same direction of the tensioner to loosen the belt. (clockwise/right turn)
Just how many "trucks" were designed to run 7000-8000rpm I feel this is my issue.

If you still had the pulley between the alternator and the water pump...I think that's your problem. I had that set-up early on and it would throw the belt. Removed that pulley and got a shorter belt to change it to a v pattern and never had another problem as high as you want to spin it. This is regarding set-ups with no PS.

This is like my set-up, but I'm using the top half of the stock truck alt bracket...Crank, tensioner, waterpump, alternator, back to crank.

That's a V setup. Never had a problem with that type. Maybe too much slack in the tensioner? I ran mine tight regardless of the marks.

Got the part, and installed in 10-20 minutes....mostly due to looking for a metric allen wrench

Looks like a quality piece. Very basic design that looks good, and billet. I'll bet that belt won't come off now.

Yes, very fast shipping. Was surprised...even have a new pulley

That belt is rubber band tight now...IF it was to come off now, I'm pretty sure its the alternator pulley. (but doubt that happens)

I'd love to I see that truck he has. Are there any videos or a build thread of it?
