My only issue would be.... WHEN DO YOU GET TO WORK ON UPGRADES ?

Ain't that what winters for ? And hunting in 90* heat and humid isn't any fun at all.

BTW... mid-60's this weekend....hope to get trans finished, and maybe even get a ride around the block

1st 2 day weekend in a while with decent weather

Lol. I would have to imagine. Any time they want. And the best part would be. Going to the track when your done. Although your right. I don't think I could give up deer, duck, goose, pheasant, Quail and dove hunting. But I guess there is always fishing. Lol

Lol. Now that you would have to prove. There are some pretty fast cars up here. We just don't have any TV shows. Lol

there are fast racers all over the country...but if you look at which region has the most fast cars, the south has that on lock down.

BTW, none of our cars are considered fast

i spent 17 years in GA. i felt like i knew fast. then i moved to MD. i can't even begin to describe the amount of fast radial and OL10.5 cars there are around here, not to mention pro-mod and top sportsman. i guess without having our own shootout we'd never be able to definitely say one way or another, but every north vs south race i've seen in the last 10 years the north has been victorious. i've raced everywhere. there's nothing like i've seen here in the northeast anywhere else. just my humble opinion.

We have the most feared man in no prep history down here in Houston. Then plenty of others. She, we have 2 Tv shows with south folk doing crazy stuff. Then we have the super bowl of street racing that happens every year down here. Houston is notorious for HP. That's for sure.

Only place you can go and really worry if a full size Chevy might just drag your ***. Lol

Just like anything else. You put it on the magic picture box. It must be true. Right? LMFAO. Funny thing is, I have been to quite a few North verses South events too. And it sure doesn't turn out like it does on the magic picture box. But I guess if you think about it. We wouldn't have people on Jerry Springer to watch, if it wasn't for Ya'all. People up here its more, put up or shut up. Screw all the Drama. Please don't take any of this the wrong way because, if nothing else, ya'all are pretty entertaining. Lol

The tv part was more of a joke, lol. But, who from up north has really given the Okc guys an *** whooping? Only other cars down south have beat up ok them.

I don't know of anyone from up north coming down here and doing anything but getting beat up on. Standing mile, outlaw street events, no prep. All the events I watch are heavy hitters from the south.

I'm just kidding with you Zones. There are fast cars everywhere. Funny thing is that there is a lot of deleted races that are not shown from up here. Might be why they stay down there. It is Tv shows. Wouldn't be a very good shows, if they got drug on every episode. You really don't think that everything is not scripted or choreographed? That would be a first. Most of the fast guys I know don't like those shows. Heard many comments on how it's promoting a highly dangerous activitie on the street, instead of getting the young people to the tracks. When in reality. Their Tv Filming Set is no different than being at the track. I will bet you If they just called it, choreographed street racing. No one would have watched it. But through in the word Outlaw, and promote it like your breaking the law, and bam. Every wannabe, Billy bad *** with a car, is suddenly interested. So I guess what I'm saying is, don't get caught up in Tv land. There are very fast cars every where. North, South ,East, or West. Who cares who has the most. Hell, I don't even care if I win. I'm just in it for that adrenaline rush from a killer pass. Winning is just an added bonus. Lol

Went to outlaw armegeddon. Over 100k in payouts. The fastest from all over the country showed up and southerners swept the entire deal in every class. Professional drivers/headhunters were sent home on trailers to grudge racers. N vs S index and bracket races dont count. Im talking no rules, no times, whoever crosses the finish line first racers.

^^^ exactly.

And TT, yes, we know about deleted scenes. We have other south racers that vouch for dragging them and the footage never gets aired.

OK....trans is in, about 1pt of ATF ran down the dipstick onto trans, and then on driveway
I added too much ATF without starting the car....but, now all clean as best I could. (still a little over full)

Anywho....feels real good taking a blast around the block again.
