looking over my previous passes, my car backhalfs HARD, the 10.32 pass was on a 6.62 1/8 mile. i'm guessing it would be right there. also, i found that i am going to need to increase launch rpm too. can't wait to see what it does on a better track.

I was at South Mountain Raceway, (formerly known as Quarter-Aces) in Boiling Springs, PA. it was a good time.

At you 10.25/134....I'm showing about .5 left on the table.

Is that due to shift technique, or ???. YOU WILL FIND IT

A very well set up stick car can match the 1320/ mph formula, but it is far more work than many are willing to do

most of that is in the first 100feet or so. everything i'm doing outlined in this thread is trying to get to that 1320/MPH=ET equation, lol.

change of plans: gonna sneak over to capitol friday.

I'm only seeing .25 on the table for the MPH. This is purely IMO. I'm hoping you get the times your looking for man. You're putting in the time and the money.

Loosing weight, playing with launch, keeping notes, lots of track time, ETC, ETC.

it's definitely not easy. I can't say enough good things about my wife letting me run after this, lol!

Something to note, the time in my signature was done at -1700' DA last november before any of the work this winter. Corrected for sea level conditions we're looking at about a 10.41 @ 132.

the 10.32 @ 135 that i ran at the first outing this year was at 1500' DA. Corrected for sea level conditions, we're looking at more like a 10.12 @ 136. so the gains are there and accounted for.

the 135 mph figure shows the potential to run 9.80's according to the calculators i use, but is counting on a 1.36ish 60' to get it there. THAT part is going to be the hardest part. i feel a tire size change will likely help with that.

forecast looks good for tomorrow.

Not easy with a stick shift. But in reality it makes us better racers, chassis has to be on point all the time or car just won't work, driver has to do his thing etc. those auto guys wouldn't know what to do lol.

i'm pretty sure that after using the 3054ST, i will make the move over to a 3055S since i end up on marginal tracks from time to time. this may require a gear change. i'm thinking a 4.71 if i do this.

That's with 4.56 gears and fbody Trans. Don't know your first gear ratio. But the 28s help me for sure and even kept me consistent as I can go rounds in pro bracket class. I am running 11.5 to 12 psi in the tires seem to work the best for me.
