yeah no kidding, lol. i have several things yet to do. the big hurdles are baby number2's room needs to be painted and assembled, then i have to put a transmission in the new mommy mobile (2000 jeep cherokee). just generally overrun with projects as usual.

I'm very excited to announce Reid Sanders of Venom Racing Engines is now on board for 2017 in the form of cylinder head and intake manifold porting! This is very exciting as the top end of the engine has needed some attention for a while. Having specialists as part of the team will make our goals that much more obtainable.

Check your PMs
Nice score, and I would enclose it as well as make it more aerodynamic too. Those gates/ramp suck up a lot of air and MPG....even empty I could tell when I borrowed a buddies lawn care trailer (1200#) Vs. my car trailer (2000# empty)

We are about 2 weeks away from baby number 2's due date, so progress is really slowing at the moment on the car and I may be about to a point where i have to stop for a little while, but I'm still pushing forward where I can. This weekend I managed to get the trans crossmember built.
To help reduce costs, yet decrease some of the valvetrain weight, the guys over at Venom Racing Engines suggested we use some LS3 valves, turned down to the size we are going for. I got a message last night (yes, on a Sunday, these guys are awesome!) with this picture of an intake valve chucked up in the CNC lathe. Yeah, I'm getting pretty amped up about the changes.
That's it for the moment. I'm hoping to get some sheet metal work done maybe starting today.

Welds look good. The forward bar to the mount off the horizontal did make me question it, but with your axle torque bar going to the frame Vs. trans tail...I think it should be OK.
