Intake

Edelbrock victor jr or Holley open mid rise is the edelbrock worth the extra $$$ ??? I'm looking to buy one this week going on lq4 with 243 heads tick sns2 cam 750 Holley and a 125 shot plate auto trans in 66 nova

Edelbrock, Quickfuel, many great carb builders, and a few intakes, right here in the good old U.S.A.

Holley = China Crap. That's why its cheaper. BUY AMERICAN!!!! Save a Job!!!!

I was looking at performer but. Feel like I'm going to have tons of torque to start with that is why I'm leaning toward open plan

whats the deal with milling the divider? the intake is my last debate in my head before I order everything. was thinking of going rpm because of all the extra torque down low

Milling the divider will give you the best compromise between the 2.
Look at the RPM Air Gap for a SBC

No car part has ever made me smile as much as opening the box of my Victor JR ls1 manifold and seeing the American flag with the letter letting me know it was made by Americans and that they appreciate the business! That's the type of company I don't mind spending the extra money to buy parts from!

I agree in todays world of corporate greed and monopolized markets making everything you own in another country it makes me feel great to know I bought a great product that helped an average guy like me put food on the table
