How does the "new" cam compare to the one you're running now ?

Or you just swapping heads and that's the cam in there now ?

My combo was going to be a copy from the start, and Yours was one I was looking at along with 2-3 others here.

Going by ET/MPH/Wt we are very close (10?) to the same HP using calculators. (figuring yours is 2650 w/driver ?)

Only thing done to my heads was to shave them for some compression (where I could have used a thinner gasket too and didn't), Otherwise, minus some fly-cuts, its a stock bottom end.

Or, follow Fast89Stang builds of lots of Cam and Comp....seems to work great looking at the last few motors he was running

13% damn... .5 right there easy.

Feel your pain there....before new rebuilt trans I was showing 17% I think it was.(11.8's before...and now 10.9's)

This camshaft will require valve reliefs in the pistons to have adequate piston-to-valve clearance. Otherwise it is bent valve city!

That camshaft also has more advance in it than I would run in a LS3. I would run that camshaft on a 105 degree intake centerline.

Steve, I thought that cam fit with stock heads and gaskets ?
Otherwise, yes, anything done to up the comp will need fly-cuts.

That camshaft will not fit a stock shortblock with LS3 heads.
