can u say time for a new ls1 motor swap? but seriously id mod it. what do u have to lose? swap the rusted parts like driveshaft and control arms with upgrade suspension and look at the tranny to see if everythings good(idk if u have m6 or a4) ultimately its up to u as said. Theoretically, u could make a car last for as long as u want so long as u keep maitenance and swap bad parts out. how much do u love it? maybe time to pass it on and start with lower miles?

Im having the same issue deciding this man. My Camaro is a 98 with a bit over 104k on the clock. Its my DD but i still like to take it to the track. Im very hesitant to do any mods to mine just because of the mileage on it. If you have the cash to rebuild what ever brakes id say go for it. However if this is your DD and you want it to last without spilling a ton of money into it id say choose wisely what you do. Just my 2 cents, remember, in the end only you can decide whats right for you.

When you drop your new block in just be prepared to repair your tranny as it might not be able to handle all that fresh power. I dropped a new long block in mine w/87k and in about a month i was looking for a tranny.
