Default Camaro weights by year.

Just a general informative graph I found about Camaro weights by year for those wanting to know. All weights are V8 models.

I'm not an expert on this subject, but I always thought that LT1s would be heavier than the LS1s... right?

First gen is way off too. A 69 Camaro will range from 36-3700 lb range. My race weight is 3650 for my Firebird. That's about 3425 without me in it. My drivetrain is lighter than stock.

First gen is correct I own a 68 its a just over 3000 lbs a 69 did not gain 700 pounds. Maybe a convertible with every single option coming home with a back seat and trunk full of concrete mix would weigh 3700.

I had a 68 Camaro and it was a lot lighter than the 69's. I weighed my Firebird on a certified scale. My LS engine is lighter than a Pontiac engine.

I dunno, I weighed my car and it has 18s C5 Z06s 9.5/10.5 all around, half a tank before I ran the car to 12.2 @ 110, its no where near what it says on that. BTW, the weight was 3290 lbs. And no weight mods.

I ordered my fully loaded no t-tops 02 ss coupe and I still have the invoice, it said shipping weight was in the low 3400 lbs, dry tank. then I weighed the car with me in it it was 3760lbs, Iam 200lbs
why are 02's so much heavier than other ls1's?

By this graph it is showing a 70 camaro being about 3200lbs, for some reason I could have sworn the factory weight was around 3450.
