I have a 02 B4C stripper. The hardtop seems to be cut out on the inside roof and its a V6
Body so no spoilers to add extra weight. Other than that I would remove the backseats.
There is a hilarious thread about reducing the weight in our cars. LMAO when I read it and some of the photos
Are just rediculous!

I weighed a bone-stock LS1 M6 T-top car on Intercomp scales once and it was 3333 with factory 16-inch wheels, the T-tops removed, and under 1/2 tank of gas. My 99 Z28 M6 hardtop weighs 3365 with similar fuel, but it's way too modified (full autoX suspension, 17x11s, longtubes, custom exhaust, race seat, etc) to be a good data point.

I see maybe a 30-40 lb difference at most..and honestly I doubt its that much. I've owned two hardtop LT1's and 1 T-Top LS1. My T-Top SS weighted in at 3450 with half tank and some stuff inside.

They are around 25 pounds a pair. Not really that heavy.
I don't think there would be much of a weight difference between a hardtop and T-Top car at all, the roof is made the same I believe.

Exactly. Idk why people think hardtop = 100lbs lighter. They have a larger roof skin, headliner, A-Pillar panels and a piece of stamped steel where the T-Top stuff would go. It's not like you take the weight of all the T-top stuff and add it to the weight of a hardtop car like people seem to think.
