Default milky oil cap?

Is it normal for ls1 motors to have milky oil cap? I been searching around to purchase one and so far and I only test drove 3 and 2 of them had milky oil cap. But the dipstick didn't look disgusting or show water mixture.. any suggestions if its a head gasket issue?

No, Milky oils cap= coolant/water in oil. Maybe its just a head leak or in the early stages thats why you don't see it in the dipstick.

But no its not normal for any engine to have a milky oil cap.

Just from what I have seen/heard its just condensation from the aluminum. I have 70k miles on my car and my buddy has 25k on his z28 and we both had the same thing when changing oil for the first time after buying our cars. It was just on the cap. I asked around got condensation as the answer. Believe me I almost **** when I saw mine...

It is normal. I have it in mine and all ls motors get that in time. It is nothing to worry about.

You must not have ever owned an LS motor. Mine does it, my buddies does it, and every other LS motor I've seen has done it, even 30K mile cars.

my 04 gto only did it when the crank case was open , it had breather filter in place , and wasnt connected to the intake to get vacuum

once i closed the crank case and put vacuum back into it , its gone and the motor is from a 00-02 f-body , my 06 LS2 gto that is a garage queen , doesnt do it , and my 99 Z28 so far i havent seen it

99Z has 56k , 06 gto 7k , 04 gto 11k

A lot of it I would guess depends on where you live. If you live somewhere that is very humid you are going to have more condensation you will probably have a better chance of seeing this than somebody that lives in a very dry desert climate like say Arizona for instance.
