Well lets see....still taking it easy on the new motor.....it loves the fully synthetic.....I had the *** end towards the east all the way thru first, snatched 2nd and the *** end went west, then she hooked and I saw a cop about 100 yds down the road....I put it in 5th and coasted like a lost senior citizen dazed and confused.....
Installed my 92/92 setup, repaired the pcv system and vacuum lines. Now I need to get it retuned for my new setup and see what she'll put down with a fresh rearend and another go fast mod. Then off to the track!!
Just finished installing my rebuilt transmission, no 3-4 gears. Tomorrow I will top off oil and take it for its first drive since the trans went out a month ago.
Well its been full on winter now, had a good snow, an ice storm, and down to single digits. So officially SUV season, and camaro hibernation season. So off topic... Who else is planning on C5 shopping soon?
Over the weekend I picked up some slightly used 6le seats.......such an upgrade.

I may be the minority but I'm not cray about the FRC body in the rear mostly. I like the slope of the regular coupe so much better. I know the z us twice the car, but aesthetics wise I love the standard targa coupe.
Finally got my Camaro on the road again.
Before it was whining whining alot. So I disassembled the rear end and pulled the axle shafts. This is what I found ....
Ordered a new Axle and installed today with new wheel bearing and seal. Reassembled.
Its soooo quiet. Now I hear an exhaust leak. D'oh!
Put drier sheets in the intake exhaust, all around the interior and under the car. Keeps mice away. I have been doing this for 4 years, never had a problem. Unplugged the battery and out fuel stabilizer in her. All done for the year.
Just gave her a sponge bath in the Man Cave and fixing to pull the T-tops off abd go for a lil cruise in this 60* weather! Gonna be in the 70's tomorrow!
Since it was 50 degrees today I installed some Founders 3 piece poly joint control arms and took the heater hose off the springs and re-installed the isolators..
feels and handles soo much better now..
a bushing on each factory control arm I was able to push right out with my thumb
