4 years ago I parked my baby for winter storage at my parents....of which she never came out of hibernation. Through those years I graduated college, sold my 68 Nova to buy an engagement/wedding rings, got my first "big boy" job 3 hours north of "home", had my daughter, got my second even "bigger boy" job 4 hours west of "home", had my son. Now here I am with my 4 year old daughter and 6 month old son and my wife finally gives me the approval to let my baby see the sun again.
Unfortunately things didn't go as smoothly as she began overheating. Being 4 hours away I really had no way to diagnose or fix the problem so I sent her to a local mechanic of course which was diagnosed with "head gasket" problems (I hate this situation because its a mechanics way to get lots of overhead labor). I debated for weeks of what to do because it was going to be a lot of money for something I could do myself but being so far away I would never have time. Finally coming to the conclusion I dumped $1500 (bye bye LE2 Heads) to get the head gasket changed, fluids swapped, and new brakes (rotors/pads).
But with all that said she will be making her maiden voyage home to finally reside in my garage once again this weekend. I feel like the day I first bought her all over again. Still ******* jacked that I could have bought LE2 heads for the price I paid to have the above work done though.

Pulled the 350 to prep for the install of an LQ4 this winter season. Completely rebuilding the front end at the same time. Also gutted the interior to restore back to original. Good times...

This weekend. UMI upper and lower front tubular control arms, 35 mm sway, Koni yellows, new toe rods, slp smooth bellow and tick bronze shift isolator cup. Car feels like new with new ball joints, bushings and all that jazz
