New to this site 1997 slp camaro ss 30th
Hi Guys and Galls, I am new to this site found it looking up parts for my ride.... I have a 1997 Camaro SS SLP 30 anniversary Build # 234 ,Black with gray leather, T-top, has around 62k on it, I bought it off the original owner that was given to him for a retirement present....long story short I have been throwing dollars and parts @ it (brakes , water pump , suspension parts, ext..) It runs great I have no idea what this car is worth...I like it but I am not attached. IT needs probably another $1000-or 2000 to be perfect.. Hood needs paint, little exhaust work and maybe rims and it ready for another 60k!! Question is what can I sell it for and or is it worth me putting money into it ???? I open to suggestions Thanks guys Mario

Looks like a nice car for the age of it!
Now if you had a white with orange stripes, white leather & white rims 1997 Camaro SS - 30th Anniversary ..............
i think they bring a bit more $.

Without knowing condition of the interior, exterior, and if it has any rust would be a guess but I would say 3-5K. Also what SLP options does it have and does it have any of the GM/SLP documents, I noticed it don't have the factory SLP wheels. So stuff like that would play into the price, at least for me.

The second I read "Not attached to it" I knew I would be advising you to sell it. Pick up an ls1 35th anniv. if you want a collector's car.
Now, not to dog on the LT1, but you should sell it to someone who is "attached" to those. That's too nice of a car to let squander.

Again thank you guy for your suggestions, I put it the wrong way its not that I am not a attached to it, I bought it in the dead of winter and its been sitting collecting dust and putting cash into it finding new things wrong with it.... I was just making sure that its a good investment and still a "eye catcher"....... the way I took it from our conversation is keep it factory and keep it clean and Ill be in good shape....now its time to find some parts (wheels, exhaust,) any good new or used part sites out there besides this one ????? Thanks
