Do you have any mods now, and what do you plan to do besides the cam?

So you want something with great drivability over pure power, and one that doesn't sound too choppy at idle then?

The cam in my sig has very good street manners and I have a stalled auto so it would be no problem with an m6.

You are not going to make 400 + rwhp with a cam like the kind you are talking. You really should talk to places like Tick Performance, Texas speed, etc...

I made 388 with an SI5, through a stalled auto. You would make closer to 400with a similar setup. That cam is a bit more than what would be considered mild though.

Flowtech Streetsweeper HT. Its a custom grind 228/232 that makes a ton of power and Im sure in your car itll be right around 400hp. Not too many people run this cam on here since Flowtech isnt a sponsor, but Ed Curtis who designed it knows what he is doing and has a very proven track record for making power.

Go with a Comp Cams 3722/3724 with a 114 LSA. Great power, not an overwhelming sound and great drivability.

Model No 54-000-11
Grind number 3722R / 3724R HR114+

Cam Spec INT EXH
ADV DUR 273 277
DUR@ .050 224 228 LOBE SEP: 114.0
Valve lift .581 .588

Also known as a 6016 on AFR site.

any upgraded cam needs better springs. if your looking for great drivability w good power the tr224 but that wont get you to 400rwhp. the tr228 or comp 228/230 w 112 lsa is about the max i'd go if drivability was important. just my one cent. plenty of choices , call a few sponsors tellem what you want. cheers!
