Talking New to me 2000 SS...in love with this car!

I just bought a 2000 SS from a friend of mine about a month ago. Car had many bolt ons but even better came with more to install. I've owned a 2005 GTO for over a year now and drove it daily. Love my GTO and the power, the comfort, the looks. I've always disliked the camaro. But once I saw this car and drove it, it was over. I was hooked. Pun completely intended.

It's currently got long tubes, OR X pipe, tubular lower control arms, pan hard bar, strut tower brace, slp lid, new ZR1 wheels with new tires and extra deep dish rears & 315 nitto 555Rs, ls6 intake, TCI street fighter 3500 stall, Diablo predator, custom stereo. Slp stat, tranny temp gauge. *Extra parts it Came with include ported 241 heads, .650 springs, MS3 cam, new timing chain set for cam swap, weld in sub frame connectors

The car was painted by a DIYer and needs to be redone our at least wet sanded and buffed like a ****. I dig it though. The car is just so different than my GTO. It's rude, sexy, raw...totally different animal.

Figured I'd share my new found joy for my 14 yo catfish.
Anyhow, here the new ride.

Nice car man, I just saw this and recognized you from when you commented on my thread the other day. Welcome to the club. You described this car the best way I know how, raw. It is why I honestly like driving my Camaro better than my buddies C6Z. It's just a blast to drive (especially now with my new 370), and it gets all sorts of attention. Clean 4th gens are getting harder to come by.

Nice find. This is why I bought my '99 Camaro.. I wanted a car that would just be brutish and raw. I have my Honda Accord coupe for the days I need a smooth quiet ride.

In the process of wet sanding and buffing all the orange peel away now. Should be super slick when I get done. I'll update the pictures

Took it Friday night to the 1/4 Mike and ran 13.14 @ 104 with a DA of 1900. Not bad since its bolt ons, stall, ls6 intake and not really tuned.
