Sweet, I'm looking into getting into the high 10's on this setup. Then I'll install a bigger cam and injectors.

Bad *** build. Loving the wheels. Can you get a side profile shot of the wheels to show the flush-ness?

They are 18x9/10 combo, running Toyo tires which tend to run wide for their sizes, 245/45, 275/40.

+25 mm offset front
+20 mm offset rear

Here's a few pics from last weekends C&C meet as well as just a meet up for lunch.

Also did some weight reduction, removed the rear bumper support and installed a brace.

Thanks, I removed the stock bumper support and made a bracket to keep the center section from moving.

A 245 on a 9” wheel and a 275 on a 10” wheel? Toyo’s Tire measurements are that far off?

Yeah, I had put a tape measure across the 275, back in post #229. These sizes fit perfectly on my setup.

How much life are you getting out of them, how do they handle and how’s the ride?

The R888R's provide good grip on the street. At 550 WHP, it hooks ok from 40mph on up. They are pretty sticky. Like any other sticky tire I don't expect them to last any longer than 4-5k. Can't really comment on the ride since they are 35 series profile.

Bad *** ride, OP! I commend you for continuing through some pretty tough snags you ran up against.

Looking forward to progress.

Awesome build I love the color the detail in the build and everything man

As for the low voltage at idle I had the same problem with 10 alternators in a row, I finally went and got a OE alternator off a truck at the junkyard and never had an issue again. It's what prompted my alternator thread on here that's like 50 pages long of other people having the same issue with their new autozone/napa/oreilly alternators.

Get you a good quality OE alternator or a aftermarket high end one and you should be good. Mine would work fine on start up but as the engine warmed up and underhood temps got higher the voltage would drop and drop. They would test the alternators and of course they showed good because it was cold (well room temp) mine would go to **** after warm up.

Thank you. After more seat time, I'm thinking it is a combination of not enough AC torque management and a faulty AC pressure switch.

None of that will cause the alternator to stop charging at idle or drop down to.. what did you say it was, 12.8 or so? It should maintain near 14 at idle. Unless you're saying the idle is dropping down so low the alternator stops charging but that would be like I dunno.. 400 ish rpm

mine sits at around 12.8 at idle with the ac on. Sometimes gets to 12.5 and going down the road it’s 13-13.2. My new truck does the same thing so I haven’t worried with it.
