do you have your secondary o2’s plugged in?
I gotcha. No, I don't have the rear o2's plugged in. I'll increase fuel like you suggested and see how it likes it.

I haven't heard about the Cat Dia Test using the rear o2 sensors. It makes sense and plugging in the rear o2's maybe something I try also. Previous owner deleted them. Thanks man.

Thanks, should get better. These were just what I run on the street. Toyo R888R, great tire on the street.

I know a lot of people tend to like those, I tried many different types of radials back in the day and the Toyo TQ ended up being my favorites. Not sure if they even make them any more but they worked really well for me. They also sat wide like I think the 888 does. Some tires in the same sizes tend to be taller and narrower than others in the same size. The Toyo was wider and shorter by a little bit each way and looked way better on my 11" rears.

But yeah man with a slick you're gonna pick up a ton.

im interested in seeing if it fixed your problem. One of those did for me and I don’t remember which one it was. A buddy of mine that’s a far more experienced tuner than me told me the that some ecms look for the rear o2’s upon startup even if they are turned off. He said you can set them to off or no report but he said it don’t matter, the computer still needs to see them plugged in or it will do funny ****. Namely this. Mine would do this and a lean out thing while driving and it was at random. Since I plugged them back in, it NEVER did it again. It’s worth a shot.

You can also run o2 simulators that prevent this as well.

Will need to trace some wiring especially around the exhaust because I'm blowing the fuse for the blinkers/reverse light and I think it's tied with the bank 2 o2 sensor. Once the fuse is popped, STFT's get shut off.

Discovered I had two issues happening at once. There is a short in the wiring to the reverse light switch (switch seems to be functioning correctly) and I had a bad O2 sensor on bank 2 (voltage was sporadic).

So I ordered a new O2 sensor, left bank was replaced a few months ago already. Will run new wires for the reverse light switch, for now it's just disconnected.

Also ordered a replacement passenger spindle because I think my current one is bent slightly from hitting the curb.

Ok. Did some messing with mine. I leaned it out in the 400 and 800 range and when I crank it....it would idle at 18-19:1 afr for a minute or so. Added the fuel back, went back to normal. Just so you know.

Great Reading! Just picked up a 2000 Camaro SS. Sorting through the issues. Thanks for the great ideas…. I lost count how many times you switched engines, trans, clutches, wheels, tires….. Still trying to decide if I should get HP Tuners or EFI Live

did you use any spacers? Are these the correct offset? Did you roll your fenders?

I used 5mm spacers in the front to clear my brembo calipers. I did roll the rear fenderlips.

I added fuel in those areas and its still lean on warm start up idle. I can drive and it'll go to stoich but idles lean for a minute or two. Been driving it as is, usually let it idle for a few.

Car runs like a bat out of hell btw.

Ran a buddy's 19' GT350 with a Whipple multiple times in a row from a 40 roll. Pulled 1-2 cars on him 40-140, then he'd close the gap before we'd shut down. Got a couple vids.

Ran a 03-04 Cobra, not sure on the mods, convertible, pulled him hard 50-100.

Yesterday, ran a new Mustang GT A10, don't know about performance mods but it was lowered on nice wheels and had quad tips lol. 50-100 gapped him.
