indeed it probably wouldn't, but with a good 4th gen, you dont have to put so much $$$ and work into it. >.< and being a HS senior, trying to be a freshman in college next year, money and time are 2 things that i am basiclly out of

Hang on to that 2nd gen! The price on them has bottomed out and they're starting to go up in value. Ten years from now , you'll thank us for talking you out of selling it.

Nice car, and welcome to the boards. It's pretty rare to see a second gen being driven around on a daily basis, it's much more rare than a 4th gen... although you don't get all the conveniences from the factory, the 4th gen is going down in value. And your second will be worth much more 5-10 years from now. There is a local guy around my area that drives a beautiful white and orange 2nd gen, and he turns a lot of heads with it.

By the way, a buddy of mine has that same crate motor in his 3rd gen.

ya, it's just a crate 350 (2004) from GM. I couldn't pass it up, long block for $1700, rated @ 320 hp.

I would like to keep it, but it's a project car by a lot of means, and i dont have near enough money or time to put into it. Or knowledge for that matter. I'm really surprised about the engine job i did on it, and so are my friends. It hasn't blown up or over heated, so i can't complain.

I still wish i had a 4th gen w/ t-tops though. >.<
