Default Air Dam

I saw one someplace, pretty sure it was one of the sponsors that had it. Some kinda of air dam that trapped air to your engine to cool it better. Anyone know what im talking about?

The stainless steel dam you speak of?

I know i've seen one of the sponcers have it, same site that does rear seat delete kit.

The name esacpes me though. I'll look through the list.

yeah, i wouldnt put a metal one. My stock plastic gets beat to **** from curbs, that metal one wouldnt last a day. Besides, it doesnt look that much better than the stock, just a slite curl at the bottom is all that looks different. And this from the same company who makes a rear seat delete "kit"??? Whats the kit include, a wrench?

If you look its a clean stock looking setup with amp rack or locking box.

Way nicer then just a empty looking rear.

I have made myself an air dam extension to try
and scoop more cooling air - back when I was
unlowered anyway. I used a piece of black cove
base (Home Depot) and "pop" rivets (cove base
also had some self-adhesive on it). It worked
OK as far as tolerating scrapes etc. because it
is flexible.

I have another plastic material I will try sometime,
the black polyethylene landscape edging that comes
in a roll. Straightened it by leaving it in the sun for
a week. Sitting around the garage in the rafters
somewhere....
