I prefer a 4th gen, I personally think they are a nicer looking car...especially the 98-02s. That being said, I do like the 3rd gen Camaro's and think that when they are fixed up they are a really nice looking car that could be a heck of a sleeper.
I think the biggest problem with 3rd gen Camaro's (at least in the general publics eyes) is that there are so many trashy ones out there. When a normal person thinks 82-92 Camaro they think POS. But, when one is painted nice and fixed up they are a very nice looking car IMHO.

My iroc-z has an LS1, 4L60e, 3.73 4th gen rear, LS1 brakes on all 4 corners, 4th gen dash, 4th gen seats/console & still carries the badass 3rd gen look.
Id say ive got the best of both worlds.

The need some tweaks but look good..
But honestly ditchs those junk heads and go with a nice carb intake!
And please the 305 is a pile of crap, I laugh when people mod them....

I love the fourth gens but I love all fbodies. My brother and cousin both have third gens and they pretty sexy rides but at the end of the day there is no better feeling than getting behind the wheel of my 01 Z28 and listening to the wonderful pur of the LS1!!!

obviously I'm going to vote 3rd gen but I like some 4th gens. Looks wise, IMO, a thirdgen camaro looks way better than a 4th gen camaro, but a 4th gen TA (98+) with the ram air hood is just badass

it is wide spread know that in every driving aspect the 4th gen is better no question horsepower handiling ride quality and daily driveability. every thing else will just be opinion. 3rd gens do look beter than most lt1 cars and most 74-82?. camaros that is.

Remember that there was a very rare option for the third gen that out handled the first few years of the 4th gen production. After it was tweaked 3rd gen had no chance.
But third gen camaros look better than 4th gen camaros. The newest T/A looks better than the 3rd gen T/A.
But this takes the cake for hte best out of them all!!
It is LS powered to boot!
