Default Do all 2002 camaro's have the 35th anniversary dash plaque?

I assumed all the 02's came with that 35th anniversary plaque in the dash. But I just read an article that said otherwise.

So, who here with a 2002 doesn't have the 35th anniversary plaque in the dash?

"A 35th Anniversary Edition was offered on all trim levels (base, Z28, and SS.) Options included with the anniversary package included a dash plaque above the radio, optional nose-to-tail stripes, and embroidered seats on the SS. The 35th Anniversary Camaro was only available as a convertible or with T-tops. 3,000 Camaros with the anniversary package were produced for the United States and 152 for Canada."

I should have mentioned I have the plaque in the dash and nothing else except of course a convertible, that's why I assumed all the '02's had the plaque.

I have an 02 Z28 35th Anniversary with T-tops and leather seats and no other options. Its a stripper with roll up windows and all.

So do I have a rear car? I don't really think so but the more I dig and hear it is becoming that way.

1967 - 2002

35th Anniversary of the Camaro. All 2002 Camaros are "35th Anniversary". Not to be confused with the "35th Anniversary Limited Edition Camaro SS" of the same year.

The Limited Edition was the red SS with silver stripes.

Do you know how many Limited Editions there were?

That is what I thought but I have also heard that not all 02s came with the 35th Anniversary badges. But not to argue the point because I think you are right.

All 2002 Camaros have the "35th Anniversary Edition" badge on the dash, including the V6 models. Not really a big deal since that badge itself is basically the only thing they changed from the 2001 model year. Pretty lame, right?

That article was made only 2 months ago, probably copy/pasted from some other site. Not very good facts there.

Yeah, you're probably right, like I figured in the first place. You have to think though, who the hell just makes up stuff like that? Anything to fill his article maybe...It would be interesting though if someone with an '02 without it replied...

Quick Reply: all 2002 camaro's have the 35th anniversary dash plaque?
