78 camaro lsx swap
I am putting a 6.2 Liter LS 2 in my 78 camaro and am not sure who makes a stainless header that will fit. I am sure this has been asked a million times but I can not seem to find. Direction is appreciated

I used Edelbrock swap headers on my 1978 Trans Am they fit very nice. I have heard that they are no longer made. Try Dynatech I hear that they are nice and the price isnt to bad. Good luck with your swap!

I just ordered the Dynatech headers off of Summit racing for the LS1 swap. For ~$500 it doesn't seem too bad, especially since it seems like not many companies are making them anymore. Don't know how they will fit though as they should be here in 2 days.

the dynatech headers are nice or try theses http://www.sandersonheaders.com/Sand...eader-Set.html
I would suggest Sanderson as a last resort.

I used the Sanderson LSX swap headers in my Miata conversion, and must say that the quality is "so-so" on them. Welds look like crap in spots, and were just cleaned up with a die grinder. None of it appears to be tig welded. Unfortunately, they were the only company making what I needed, so I bought them.
I would suggest Sanderson as a last resort.

any updates?
sorry years later lol... but you guys didn't finish. and i'm just starting
i'm starting lq4 build in my 78 Camaro curious on any issues ,clearance ,fitment on dynatechs headers and which oil pan would stock oil pan still fit ? . summit had a review on a 73 Camaro that said bad ground clearance as i'm also looking at dougs headers DOU-D333 and these mounts CLP-LS1-KU . while trying to use my tci th350 without moving transmission or at least only having to redo my new driveshaft and exhaust would make me happy

you have part number. they have quite a few . I've been looking at hooker they have a ton of great header swaps. an yea I notice their mounts are offset. did you use their trans xmember? or no. says their mounts change geometry a bit. and did you stay th350? or 4lseries?
