Default finding a complete t56 harness

I have a 98 pcm and what used to be a 4L60E harness scored both for $75 BUT its missing every wire rear of the motor they just cut the harness and I'm guessing I'm missing every trani wire where can I get a complete t56 harness to splice to mine. I seen the website's that sell plug by plug trying to avoid that only doing that as my last resort.

All you reall need are the VSS wires. You can do without the rest. Just get a vss plug and run the two wires to the front. Solder the wires to two of the pins you will have when you remove unused wires and plug them into the pcm..

There are four connectors for the T56 that you can add/mod. You don't need any of them to run, but as noted, Some are Highly recommened as they make life easier and does add value to driveablity (PCM will control Idle on slow down and stopping).

I drove with only the Reverse Lockout wire for a year, then added the Reverse Light switch, I still don't run a VSS. But have not had any problem with low idle or engine stalling when coming to a quick stop. I may be one of the lucky one. ??

1) VSS - Recommended

2) CAGS (don't need, can be removed and plugged)

3) Reverse Lockout - Recommended, else you have to slam over the shifter to get into reverse. Some have removed and plugged, but be carefull on going from 6th to 5th, as you might go into reverse.

4) Reverse Light Switch - Recommened, just wire into your old wiring.

All the T56's are pretty much the same.

I only wired 3.. VSS, Reverse Lockout, Reverse Lights. Cags is useless garbage.

You can buy the connectors online, of clip them from a harness at the junkyard. I think I have a few of each layin around from harness that I've stripped to build others.

I looked at the harness last night again and its a few fires that were snipped. Im guessing I'm going to need some o2 sensor wires as well, may go to the junkyard today and get the plugs off a v6 I need a obd plug anyways. Should be the same as a LS1 right. heres a pic of what was cut
