Default My 90 LX LS/Tremec3550 combo

Just got engine bay finished up last week. Got motor dropped in yesterday. Happy with the progress. Motor is a 5.7 Stock bottom end with rod bolts, ported 241's, trex cam,11.2 to 1comp, vic jr intake, kooks 1 7/8 primaries, carb on it is for mock up purposes...going e85. Will be running a Tremec 3550 Behind it and a built 8.8 with 4.10s

Looks good, man it must take some time to fill in all those holes. I think it would take more time doing that than the rest of the body work, haha. I just bought a fox so I been looking at what you guys are doing, keep the pics coming

Clean engine bay. Did you make up the inner fender panels or buy them?

Thanks again. The panels fit great, this car has never been wrecked and I didn't have to trim them any at all. Its not going to be a show car but I wanted it to look clean and I may hit up a few local car shows but its mainly a street/strip toy.

few more progress pics. I have heater box back in, coils and wires on, radiator, fan and hoses on. steering shaft finally fits. Fixing to pull headers and get ceramic coated. slowly but surely making head way. Hard to do that working 7-13's w an hour drive each way.

also didnt use a hose to loop the bypass the heater outputs on the water pump, instead used block off caps. I cant stand a looped hose....just boogers up the engine bay imo.

Nice! Can you post a pic of the DR side header around the steering shaft? What's the width between your frame rails?

Thanks!

Got a lil more done. I painted the coils, and brackets, put my throttle bracket on. Headers are back off getting coated. Got all the fuel system ran and plumbed in. hope to have it ready to crank when i get headers back. heres a few more pics. Also got the overflow tank mounted too. making progress is the main thing.
