Do you have experience with a few LS swaps, if so, it seems pretty straight forward, although, I would choose a 4L60e right from the start instead of wasting the extra money on parts to make a TH350 work...

ive seen a couple of videos and have done a bit of searching if that counts but like i said im going to try upgrading as time goes on because im on a low budget of 2k at the moment

i figure engine is going to set me back $500

cables $150

harness $500

fuel pump $250ish

reflashed ecu $300

mounts $100

as for exhaust im going to run open headers

Cut your PCM reflash price in half by finding a local buddy to do it for cheap.

shouldn't you be able to bolt up the 200R4, 700R7, or th350 with just a flywheel spacer??

A DIY harness isn't that tough, and if you go to a pull your own yard, you should be able to get the engine, harness, and ecu for around $500

I think there are some issues with the torque converter bolt pattern...

There are, I just had a machine shop drill some new holes for me but these days I think at least one place is making a flywheel that will work.
