Default Exhaust Manifolds on 69 with LS1?

Has anyone used C5 exhaust manifolds on a 69 Camaro. I am putting in a 5.3 iron block and looking for good manifolds.
I have heard that C4 or C5 fit, so looking for any advice or past experiences.

Thanks ahead of time.

Moving this to the Conversions and Hybrid forum where you're more likely to get a response. You may also wish to do some searching on this forum.

C4s didn't have LS motors so you can scratch that one off your list.

No LS Corvette manifold will fit a 69 Camaro.

In a few weeks, I will have some Kooks long tube headers (LS swap for first gen Camaros) available. I have only had them on the car since 2014, probably less than 2K miles. Only reason Im taking them off is bc Im going single turbo.

I will definitely be selling, just not sure exactly when. I will let you know as soon as I start the install of the turbo, which I hope is within a month.

So you're gonna go and bottleneck the exhaust with one of those spinning muffler thingys.......................GOOD LORD
Why would anyone want two per cube in a first gen F-Body........

Smile Hooker Headers on 69 Camaro

Has anyone have information on if the hooker headers with the Holley motor mounts. Do the long tube headers hang below the frame? My car is lowered about 2 inches. Do not want the headers to scrape. Deciding on going with long tubes or mid-length headers.

Thanks.

There are pictures in this conversion/hybrids section somewhere for the first gen cars. In my opinion they fit the best of any system out there. I bought there mounts and will get the headers soon. I have heard nothing but good feedback from anyone with them. One problem is you also have to use their oil pan with the Holley mounts.

Any header will hang som what. Manifold wise, I think the fbody or truck may fit, but it is close to the steering box. The shield will have to be removed.
