Custom alternator bracket
Do any of you guys know of a vendor making an alternator bracket that mounts it low on the driver or pass side, with a electric w/p and no other accessories?? I have the race pump, so I can't use the w/p as a pulley. Thanks for any info.

The factory low mount has no provision for putting tension on the belt. I am probably going to make something, I have't been able to find anything "pre-made" that will work. Its kind of weird, I'm sure quite a few people are running the race version electric water pump, I wonder what they are using for brackets?

Do you want it even lower then that again?

I made the stock tensioner pully work for me. Takes about 1/2 hour, grinding wheel and a 37" belt I believe. The pic is on my web site . Good luck

pretty cool. I thought about using the tensioner but I figured less stuff spinning around on the front of the motor would be better, I got a shorter belt and more belt wrap out of the deal too. Nice website.
