Thats fast for a stock 02 LS1. How much does the car weigh? I vote for you to keep it!

Are those stock 4th gen SLP longtubes you are running? I have a similar setup with tubular everything. I have heard that only Hawks LT's will fit. Please send me picks of the
headers if they really work!

My motor is moved back 2inches,driver side fit fine passenger side I relocated
the #3 exhaust pipe, they fit okay oh the subframe on the passenger side needs some notching about it.Yes out local track for now is closed and yes it does suck, but thats all we have, so we use it.My car did infact do 11.60ets the first time I went out there when I came back to the pits my friends asked me Guess what u ran, I replied it felt like 12.40 bam 11.60 I was excited Thats what I ran all night Stevo can back this up,he was there!!

I dont see how you were able to get a 4th gen header on. The subframes of the two are radically different...and if you moved the motor back, that would make the problem worse. My roommate had FLP? ( i dont remember exactly ) headers sitting around, so we tried to put them on to see if I could use em and the exhaust dumps were running right into the subframe on both sides....4th gens run the exhaust in a totally different place.

Do you have any pics?

Doh! How'd I miss that? 3100 is pretty light. I didn't know 3rd gens were that light. My Monza weighed 3000 with me and a iron head 355. It should be lighter with the LS1 I'm putting in. My other choice for a swap was a 92 RS or Z28. Cool car and good luck!

well guys believe it or not this car does have a completly stock ls1 motor..and yes he is running 4th gen slp ceramic coated headers on his 3rd gen camaro...i know this cause those headers that are currently on his car used to be on his 02 camaro ss...i'll try to take some pics in the next week or so..and man does this car car launch hard... the last time he ran it man the car just squatted off the line and took off hard!!...his whole interior is from an 02 camaro his dash and console and even the seats are from a 4th gen...but i think he still has his original 3rd steering wheel...i'll try to take pics of the car as soon as possible for all you none believers
